still cant believe how time flies. it have been four years since i become a mother!
she celebrate her birthday in school and thank you all for the well wishes..
it has been four years of new experience, exhilarating yet nothing as pleasurable as a gift of a sweet daughter.
as i was looking at the pictures taken in school (i had to work... unfortunately, my leaves are better saved in case of emergencies as i learnt earlier this year.......) i got abit freaked out how similar Nuryna looked to me. well to my side of the family.
it does have a logical explanation that first and fore mostly, she is my daughter (DUH) and that she spends majority of her time with my family. when you spend alot of your time with a person you tend to be alike in that person. for example, with your boyfriend. alot of people would claim how alike you and your boyfriend look and that "you are meant for each other". The fact is (really) the both of you spent alot of time together and that you start to mimic or follow your partners move unconsciously.
i was looking at a picture of nana, (pictures upload later cause i dont have the patience to upload at the current moment, its almost one a.m) she looked like me. physically, she had everything i have. The nose (which all of our cousins would joke about and feel quite offended if someone made fun of), her smile (tight lipped. very conscious of the surrounding), her hair (hate to admit it but i did have the exact curls), her round face and to the awkwardness of her body language that was made, the solemn look on her face that i make if i dont like something and refuse to say it loud because i might hurt the other party.. She is an exact photocopy. no. make it an exact SCAN of a mini me. no editing, nothing... EXACT CARBON COPY.
all in all she pretty much enjoyed the attention she was getting. but mummy feel pretty bad that i wasnt around for her to tell off to her classmates tat HEY THIS IS MY MOTHER. (not that the kids will remember butttt for me it is such a big deal)
She will be turning FIVE.... Iris just said it out loud and i was like HUH WHAT?
How come nobody told me that babies grow up so fast? is there a warning sign at their belly button i didnt read clearly? BEWARE: GROW AT THE BLINK OF EYE.
I hate to repeat this. It has been a default phrase for teenage mother (it can be our anthem or something) but.. shall say it anywayyy... I never regret my decision. She's definitely a gift from God. It has been tough but NOTHING comes close to the satisfaction of seeing YOUR child grow...
of course i wish for the best.. and still attempting to get a Gold award for Best Mother. Cant deny this, there is more hurdles for me to go through. My own mother is still having trouble installing principles into me....
I can do this.

ps. NANA is Nuryna Aqilah.. gettit? N A N A.. hahaha.. i know. why even bother? her names consist of 12 letters.. tsk........
